It has been my privilege to serve as CEO to APSCo (previously ATSCo) for over 11 years now. In that time I’ve seen it grow into a powerful, energetic and influential force in the world of Professional Staffing without ever losing close contact with its membership. We are a trade body that wants to get to know our members inside out so that we can better support their ambitions and plans and get to know the people that make it happen.
 APSCo members seem to share a drive for success married with an excellent sense of humour and inexhaustible capacity for networking and socialising. This makes my job hugely enjoyable, if a little tiring at times!  But when I look back over each year’s activities I am always amazed by what we have achieved. Take last year for example – 72 member meetings across the UK, another fantastic charity ball, and significant input into government legislative consultation around the Agency Workers Directive. If you haven’t joined us yet, there’s never been a more important or exciting time in our industry. Help us mould it for the future. For employers, candidates and contractors, make sure you are working with companies carrying the APSCo badge – rigorously referenced and bound by a strict Code of Conduct. I am proud of APSCo and my small team which makes so much happen. I am proud of our membership – agencies and affiliates bound together by APSCo’s badge of excellence. And I am proud of our industry – the international benchmark for quality and innovation in the field of Professional Staffing. |
