Ben is the Managing Director of 3d Recruit, incorporating both Amicus Recruit and SocialWork 2000. As the founder of Amicus Recruit in 2000 and with a passionate belief that quality will triumph, Amicus Recruit quickly established itself as one of the market leaders in providing qualified professional services to the Social Care industry. The near perfect match of reputation and values between Amicus Recruit and SocialWork 2000 led to a successful merger in 2010 and the creation of 3d Recruit. The new group retains the commitment to quality, a desire to innovate and the skills and passion of a talented team.

ASWEB was set in motion when a couple of like-minded Company Directors shared the same commitment to raising standards. Five years on and ASWEB members provide approximately half of the qualified staff to the Social Care sector. ASWEB has developed a set of standards that are independently audited and comprehensively safeguard our clients candidates. It is a testament to the members who come back year on year to review the standards and find improvement.

ASWEB has advised a number of industry bodies on best practice in temporary Social Work recruitment and its reputation is further emboldened by the recognition of APSCo. As the Chair of ASWEB, Ben is terrifically excited about the next stage of its development.

In isolation ASWEB have punched above their weight and now with the backing and expertise of APSCo they can realise the full potential of the association for the benefit of their members.
