Annual golf day

Once again, APSCo joined forces with Recruitment International to hold our charity golf day in aid of ChildLine and Link Leisure. The fabulous Woking Golf course was a spectacular venue and the weather was very kind to us, the sun shining strongly until a brief shower hurried the last players along to the clubhouse for a well-deserved lunch.
Our sponsors this year, The IT JOBboard, provided a great array of prizes along with the very impressive VPAR-golf on course scoring system. Golfers were able to input their scores into a hand held device and live leader boards were available in the club house and on-line for followers to keep track of the competition.
The results could not have been closer, with the two leaders tying on the last hole and the final winner being decided on a countback.
Taking home the trophy were the Zeel Solutions team with Orion coming such a close second. In third place were GCS and one of their team, Shaun Smith, also carried off the nearest the pin prize of £100 voucher for the pro-shop. Congratulations to all of them.
