Testimonials

"The business advice on offer from the meetings aligned with ideas that are shared between people at the various forums are excellent. Ann, Rina, Marilyn and the rest of the team are part of an invaluable trade organisation that is of great benefit to recruiters. I urge any small to medium agency considering joining to stop considering and join!!."
Siri Narasimham, Director – Operations and Finance, E-Synergy Solutions

"Starting a new recruitment business is always difficult and doing things properly can be nearly impossible. Radius has found that APSCo membership has benefited our business in many ways.

The Code of Practice is an excellent selling tool for staff and clients and helps maintain a quality standard. Networking with APSCO members is an additional benefit, even though they might be competitors, members are happy to give advice and help with issues. The events are great motivators for our staff and a good way to get our clients involved."
Mo Hussain – Director, Radius Recruitment

“As a new member of APSCo, I found the first member meeting to be most informative and the people welcoming and friendly. It was great to meet individuals who are part of a trusted and trustworthy association, and to know that we are working towards the same goals."
Mike Gawthorne, Operations Director, Advanced Resource Managers Engineering

"Just IT joined APSCo to take advantage of the excellent learning and networking opportunities available. APSCo offers the chance to hear recruitment industry leaders talk about the sector which is a great opportunity to learn.  We would definitely use this vital information as part of the strategic growth plan for Just IT."
Sunil Duggal / Managing Director, Just IT Recruitment.

“Collaboration was the key at the recent APSCo IT Directors forum, with presentations by Robbie Cowling (Jobserve), Mike Wall (Jobsite) and Richard Nott (CWJobs).  Recruiters are happy to know the Boards don’t want to own the whole show, and joint ventures on ad-posting, response and database search tools abound.”
Jonathan Cox – MD – Start Resourcing.

"I attended my first HR Forum and am pleased to say that the APSCo event exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the sharing of information between competitors in order to help improve our industry! We were fortunate to have Ann Swain attend the meeting and it was a very relaxed but informative morning."
Toni Lowe, HR Manager- Allegis Group

"Having spent over 20 years in the engineering industry ('on the client side'), I joined the engineering, technical, IT and rail recruitment specialists NES just over 18 months as the Group Commercial Director. As a fresh face to the recruitment industry, I was overwhelmed, trying to understand how business was conducted, the contractual arrangements with clients and contractors, and then we were all hit with the new MSC legislation ! Fortunately, NES has always been an active member of APSCo and this has been invaluable to my own professional development and has provided me access to expert advice and networking opportunities.

As NES has a rapidly growing international network of offices  the recent addition of the European and Rest of World forums, has enabled me to share with others the 'joys' of recruiting around the globe. Recently we had the inaugural meeting of the Engineering Forum at which we explored how we as an industry can contribute to addressing the skill shortages in the engineering sector. All these meeting have enabled the members to explore a variety of issues, and helped steer APSCo's political lobbying at both a UK and European level to represent the best industries of our industry."
Stephen Rookes – Commercial and HR Director- NES Group
