Discover how APSCo is inspiring and supporting women in leadership roles to reach their full potential

At APSCo we always want to make a real and positive difference in the recruitment landscape. One of the many ways we seek to do this is by championing greater diversity in the workforce. Things have come a long in the last few decades but there’s much more that can be done particularly when it comes to women. Women are under-represented in professional recruitment, even more noticeably so at senior level.

That’s why APSCo has created its brand-new Women in Leadership training programme. We want to inspire and support women in leadership roles to reach their full potential. The training doesn’t just tackle the challenges that can hold women back but also offers practical tools to enable them to navigate barriers more effectively.

Learn how APSCo’s Women in Leadership training programme can benefit you and your business.

APSCo created the programme based on member feedback and to date we’ve trained over 50 women. The feedback has been incredible, just look what some of our delegates say:

The Women in Leadership Programme was not only a professional but personal development journey. I feel more confident in my ability to lead from the front and have developed a network which provides support and encouragement.

Through the programme, I found comfort and confidence after speaking with others, as it highlighted that my worries about my next career move were shared by many in the room. However, this did not stop them from progressing, and gave me the reassurance I can do the same.

In fact, all delegates and all individuals managing them have recommended the programme.

They noted behaviour changes including:

  • The ability to delegate effectively, both down, sideways and in some cases upwards too.
  • Tackling challenging conversations with confidence.
  • Asking for support without fear of having the work taken away from them.
  • Sharing solutions within the group, specifically sales and operations feeling like ‘one team’ - truly collaborating.
  • Understanding the habits that hold them back and working on changing them.
  • An unwavering increase in confidence.

So the benefits are plain for all to see. If you want your female leaders to develop their skills and become the best versions of themselves, then the Women in Leadership Programme is a must.
