Founded in 1999, APSCo UK was established to provide a dedicated trade association for recruitment businesses operating in professional sectors. It introduced initiatives such as Compliance+, which goes beyond statutory requirements, and delivers the annual Awards for Excellence recognising outstanding practice across the sector. Under the leadership of Managing Director Samantha Hurley, APSCo UK continues to act as the central hub of the APSCo global network.

Launched in 2013, APSCo Southeast Asia expanded the association’s reach into the region with its headquarters in Singapore. It supports members navigating complex and diverse regulatory environments across markets including Singapore and Malaysia, and plays a key role in connecting international recruitment firms to regional opportunities with a strong focus on cross-border operations. The region is led by Stuart Feest, who oversees APSCo’s activity and member engagement across Southeast Asia.

APSCo Deutschland was established in 2015 to represent recruitment firms in Germany. Operating in one of Europe’s most regulated labour markets, it provides a platform for members to address legislative challenges such as Arbeitnehmerüberlassung (AÜG) and to engage with policymakers. With André Sola as Managing Director, APSCo Deutschland also serves as a gateway for international businesses entering the German market, ensuring alignment between local requirements and international standards

In 2016, APSCo merged with the Information Technology Contract & Recruitment Association (ITCRA) to form APSCo Australia. Building on ITCRA’s established presence, it has become a recognised voice for the Australian recruitment industry. It delivers flagship initiatives such as The Complete Recruiter programme and high-profile networking events including the annual Emerge conference. Managed by Lesley Horsburgh, APSCo Australia provides tailored support for its members while drawing on the resources of the wider APSCo network.

APSCo OutSource was formed in 2021 to represent the specific needs of outsourcing providers, including RPO, MSP, and project delivery organisations. Under Managing Director Brian Huggett, it has developed into a specialist forum offering benchmarking, research, and dedicated events that address the commercial and operational priorities of outsourcing firms. Its tailored focus sets it apart from broader recruitment trade bodies.

In 2024, APSCo launched OutSource Europe to extend representation for outsourcing providers across the continent. Headed by Managing Director Oliver Kömpf, the division supports firms operating across multiple European jurisdictions with a focus on pan-European regulation, cross-border collaboration, and the development of industry standards tailored to the European market.
