How can equity plans help attract, incentivise and retain your top talent?

As part of our ongoing conversation around shaping inclusive and authentic workplaces, our 2023 'Being an inclusive employer survey report' revisits the themes we began to explore in 2022.

It is becoming increasingly clear that, in the job market, money is definitely not all the matters. This can be seen across the workforce, but especially in the considerations of underrepresented candidates and employees, including (but not limited to) women, parents, care givers, members of the BAME community, and the LGBTQ+ community.

The terms equality and equity may sound similar, and are sometimes (incorrectly) used interchangeably. Making a distinction between the two is integral to our business goals here at Recite Me. So, we are taking a deeper look into both terms and how equality and equity factors can affect you, your organisation, and the customers and communities you serve.

Promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce is something which features on most employers' agendas. It's helpful to know that the Equality Act 2010 contains positive action provisions which are entirely voluntary, but very useful!
